Veronica Malki
Bio
Singer-songwriter Veronica Malki’s sirenic songs, soulful, rich vocals, and radiant, lovable presence guide listeners on a rapturous journey of emotion and spirit. Her latest EP, To The Sound From The Bay, pays acoustic homage to healing transits of home, heart, and the divine humor of it all.
Malki began to play guitar and write songs during a college year abroad in Granada, Spain. She soon assembled a band in San Jose, CA and recorded her first studio album, Listening (2010). In 2012, Veronica transplanted to Seattle, WA and practiced as a birth doula while continuing to sing locally and taking root in her new creative communities. She has opened for The Wild Reeds, Stelth Ulvang (The Lumineers), and John Craigie.
